Victim Advocacy Network (VAN) Training

VAN is a training series comprised of workshops lead by leaders of hate crimes work across Ontario. The training series has been offered twice to members of the community and staff and volunteers working for agencies and service providers. The last graduation ceremony was held on November 21, 2008, where 97 people graduated.

Join the Hamilton Hate Crime Committee (HHCC)

Graduates from the VAN training wanted to continue their advocacy and support for victims of hate in Hamilton.  So, they formed the HHCC.  Through collaboration, the HHCC advocates for improved services for victims of hate.  If you would like to join the effort and be a part of the HHCC, contact us for more information.
